Notting Hill Area Guide, W11

What are Notting Hill and Holland Park like to live in?
Get guidance on cheapest household bills in Notting Hill

  • Notting Hill and Holland Park belong to the W11 postcode of West London.
  • The area lies pretty much on the north side of the A402 road, which is better known as Notting Hill Gate or Holland Park Avenue.
  • Most of W11 is surrounded by tube stations, making it an extremely well connected area. It’s very easy to get quickly into Central London – you could even walk to Oxford Street in about 20-30 minutes.
  • The area of Notting Hill has been made famous for two reasons. First for the Portobello Road market , well known for it’s antiques. Secondly for the film ‘Notting Hill’ starring Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts.
  • As a result of all the above and the excellent pubs and restaurants in the area, property prices are really expensive (see below).
