What is Battersea like to live in? Battersea is located in South-West London, just south of the River Thames. The area of Clapham Junction is also included in the postcode area of SW11. Battersea is extremely popular with young people due to the close proximity to Central London and the excellent nightlife options that are available. The Northcote Road and Battersea Rise are two extremely popular roads, situated near Clapham Junction station and both are lined with bars and restaurants. In the summer, crowds spill out onto the pavement on most nights of the week.
